The Dortmund Digital Week, so called #DIWODO, brings together AI, digitalization, and innovation to foster exchange, expertise and efficient solutions.
In its anniversary year, #DIWODO will take place as part of FATT, a new festival format running from September 15 to 21 this year, bringing together the themes of art (“Art”), technology (“Tech”), and cuisine (“Taste”) at a special location. The main venue will be the Hansa Coking Plant ("Kokerei Hansa") in northern Dortmund, which was once among the largest coking plants in the Ruhr region and is being further spruced up for the IGA 2027. However, the many events taking place as part of #DIWODO are often held at companies throughout the city.
For many years, 123domain.eu has taken advantage of the opportunity to showcase itself as part of #DIWODO and will be participating this time with two events on September 15, 2026:
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
In our online presentation “The Foundation of Your Digital Transformation – Why Domain Management Is a Top Priority Today”, Catrin Unrath will discuss why professional domain management is much more than just registering an Internet address, and she’ll share illustrative real-world examples. The presentation will take place exclusively online and is aimed at companies and their staff who manage domains.
2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
In cooperation with our partner ICN GmbH + Co. KG, Nina Hülsken and Catrin Unrath cordially invite you to the workshop “All About Matcha, or What? Between Trend and Nonsense.” Together, they’ll take a close look at current trends in IT and marketing, play a live quiz with participants, and show how to distinguish hype from genuine relevance. The workshop will take place in person at ICN, though it’s also possible to join online.
Participation is free, both presentations will be given in German and there are still a few spots available for both events; registration is required. Please follow the links provided to register.
