The purchase of already registered domains is an opportunity to expand your own domain portfolio. Domains are often offered for sale directly, in other cases they are only registered and are not actively used. In any case, it is worth contacting us and clarifying any sales interests.
Let us enquire about your desired domains and – if necessary – maintain your anonymity during the price negotiations. We professionally carry out the entire process from the initial inquiry to the successful transfer into your portfolio. You benefit above all from the negotiation of the best possible domain price, direct payment by us, central invoicing and secure domain transfer.
In the case of an anonymous purchase request, we will approach the domain owner with a predetermined price range for you. Neither the company name nor the industry are mentioned. The seller receives neither information about your company's solvency nor strategy. With an anonymous purchase inquiry you improve the chance to buy the domain at a favourable price.
While it often turns out to be difficult to make initial contact with private individuals, professional domain sellers who specialize in the sale of individual domains or entire portfolios require the necessary negotiating skills. We are well acquainted with this second market, know the different strategies of the sellers, can assess them and make purchases for you directly. Very often the domain can be purchased within the agreed price range.
If a domain purchase does not turn out to be a suitable way to complete the portfolio accordingly, it may make sense to take legal action. Provided that you have the appropriate rights, possible legal action can be initiated together with your legal department or our partner law firm specialising in media, trademark and Internet law. In many cases, the costs incurred are lower than with a domain purchase if the legal situation is appropriate.
